Put Your Hubs on Auto Feed

After you have written a hub it is good practice to spread the word. You may choose to Tweet it or place it on your Facebook account. Wouldn't it be nice to do this automatically? You can!

What You Need

You will need to find or set up the following:

  1. Find your hub feed, aka your hub RSS.
  2. Have or create Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Google Buzz or MySpace account.
  3. Create an account at Dlvr.it.

That's it.

1. Finding Your Hub Feed

Head over to your Profile and click "Subscribe to Your Name RSS Feed". This takes you to where you usually add feeds, mine is Google Reader. You will see the feed link, it looks like this: http://allierambles.hubpages.com/hubs/latest?rss. Copy it and hold onto it.

Alternative way. Replace your hub name where mine is above.

2. Have Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, etc Accounts

Dlvr.it, the service you will be using, will deliver to Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and a few other social sites.

Have your accounts ready.

The more your send out new hubs, the more exposure you get and the more great backlinks you receive. This all equals traffic and income.

3. Create a Dlvr.it Account

Dlvr.it is a free service that allows you to feed any RSS feed to accounts you have on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and many more. All on auto. When you post a new hub it will be feed to the destinations you have chosen.

It is simple to set up an auto distribution. You will need the "source" which is your HubPages feed link you copied from above. And the "destination" where you want to place your new hub's link. (Twitter, FB, etc.)

It's great to backlink everything I write in the future, but what I need is something that will post the articles I've already written at the rate of one a day.

Hi Tina,

I don't think there is a way to do this. You would have to do it yourself using something like Hootsuite or Dlvr.it to schedule out your hub links.

The closest thing I can come up with is a plugin called "Tweet Old Posts" but that is only used with Wordpress. If you use WP you can create a post with your hubs in it and when Tweet Old Posts hits that post and tweets it then the hubs will indirectly be tweeted.

That is a tough one. It would be great if Hubpages could allow more interaction with Twitter and FB and the like.

THX. If you find anything LMK and I will do the same.
